Su primer sencillo fue grabado para la casa discográfica Decca en 1964 con la canción “Fiebre intermitente” (Chills And Fever); no tuvo mucho interés, pero el éxito llegó en 1965 con la canción “No es raro” (It’s Not Unusual). Ese mismo año, graba la canción para la pelÃcula de James Bond titulada “Operación Trueno” (Thunderball). El reconocimiento llegó con el premio Grammy porMejor artista nuevo. En 1966, su popularidad empieza a consolidarse a través de un propuesta madura, transformándose en un gran crooner con canciones como “El verde, verde césped de casa” (Green Green Grass of Home), “¿Qué hay de nuevo, gatita?” (What’s New Pussycat), “Los ojos mÃos” (Help Yourself) y Delilah.”

Luego de una SG1 (+-) y una SGA (+++) viene SGU.  Está será mi próxima serie a ver, espero comenzar muy pronto en enero de 2010.
