Portafolio virtual
Publicado el 3 03UTC septiembre 03UTC 2009 117 comentariosLa Universidad Icesi cuenta ahora con una herramienta (Portafolio Virtual) que permite de manera muy fácil y de manera completamente autónoma construir un sitio web con la información que cada profesor de la Universidad quiera publicar.
El portafolio virtual, permite de manera modular crear diferentes vistas y organizar el sitio web de cada profesor de acuerdo a sus intereses.  Ésta herramienta permite crear los sitios web a partir de plantillas predefinidas o creadas por otros profesores y luego pueden ser ajustadas según se requiera.
CV Profesor
Entre las funcionalidades principales, está la construcción de vistas y entre estas se destacan:
- Hoja de vida
- RSS a los blogs del profesor
- Plantilla de publicaciones, la cual tiene enlaces al CvLAC, GrupLAC, blogs, foros, wiki Icesi o publicaciones en otros sitios similares.  Adicionalmente se pueden generar consultas en el Catálogo Público, en el Repositorio Académico y en la Biblioteca Digital que pueden referenciarse desde el Portafolio Virtual.

El portafolio virtual ha sido la mejor manera de hacerme conocer en el ambiente academico.
Recordemos que ahora las fronteras estan en la mente de aquel que no conoce estas herramientas.
Supongamos el buscador google no solo encuentra lo necesario tambien los trabajos de los academicos y digitando los nombres he encontrado los desarrollos de álgunos de ellos.
Ahora tenemos otra ventana para sacar a luz nuestras investigaciones y trabajos. -
