In the year 2007, the construction of a new classroom building is planned, and in 2008, the construction of special classrooms and laboratories is planned.
In the University, the majority of the physical resources are for the use of all of the academic programs. The office of Academic Planning assigns these spaces to classes, based on the following characteristics, specific to each subject:
- The quota
- The number of anticipated students
- The special resources needed for the development of the course
- The special conditions of the people enrolled in the course (handicaps, age, etc.)
There are in total 50 classrooms (each one with a capacity of 30 to 48 persons) and 6 auditoriums with capacity up to 340 persons. The new buildings will provide capacity to 80 classrooms and a new auditorium for 70 persons.
Currently, the Library Building is being remodeled to create new reading rooms, study areas, and a student activity center. The University recently acquired a new area of 11,900 m2 for the construction of new parking spaces. With the conclusion of the new auditorium building, the University has two auditoriums with a capacity of 180 people each and one with a capacity of 360 people.
