The Entrepeneurial

SpiritThe Center for the Development of Entrepeneurial Spirit, CDEE, was created in 1985 by Icesi University to encourage to the creative spirit of students and encourage them to form and develop new organizations, or new businesses within existing organizations, as goal to create new sources of wealth and employment. 

In the initial stages we combine academic and practical components. Students begins by designing a complete Business Plan in the field of interest and network with real companies in that area. They then analyze information and business practices and prepare case studies. This enables the student to make sounder decisions and to discover new opportunities in the businesses examined. It also develops creativity and innovative spirit both needed in the business world.

This exercise helps students who wich to take first steps in creating their own business to make their Business Plan on paper a reality.

Each project is posted in a CDEE Data Book and is available to graduates at all times.

During their studies at Icesi, students are given opportunities to finance and carry out business deals, meet face to face with business leaders, visit various organizations and, in this total environment, develop business spirit
