The International Relations Office coordinates and assists all departments of the University in making their areas more international in scope. It facilitates links between the directors, professors, students and alumni of Icesi, on the one hand, and also with international cooperation organizations, universities, public and private international entities, diplomatic missions and other service organizations involved in international exchange programs for students and teachers.

The International Relations Office identifies, promotes, coordinates and evaluates international programs designed to develop a global vision among students and professors and to facilitate the internationalization of their respective scholastic programs.

Functions

• Represents Icesi University in all dealings with international cooperation organizations, international relations offices of universities and other educational institutions abroad, public and private international institutions, governmental institutions that lead the cause for internationalization of education, diplomatic missions accredited in Colombia, Colombian diplomatic missions accredited abroad and, finally, with private service organizations devoted to interchange of professors and students.
