The Professional Development Program (PDP) is a group of education, development and projection activities, begun in the 8th semester, and directed towards delivering to each student adequate planning of his or her career, according to personal characteristics, interests and expectations while keeping in mind the professional projections in a national and international environment. The Business Internship Program is considered to be an exceptional academic experience. with the objective of contributing to the strengthening of the capacities and values of the interns in order to ease the transition and adaptation from the university environment to the organizational one. The intern’s immediate supervisor, the students, and the degree advisors participate in this internship. Since 1984, the University has had 627 participating national and international businesses, with 1198 Business Administration interns and 450 interns from Systems Engineering. At present, students from Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering, Economy and International Business, Public Accounting and International Finance, Computer Science Engineering, and Law participate in internships. The importance of the immediate supervisors in the educational process of our students is such that they are named Adjunct Professors. The organizations associated with the University receive a series of benefits associated with the quality of the intern’s performance.
