Va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la idea de que el desarrollo es una fuerza hegem\u00f3nica y homogeneizante que victimiza a las comunidades locales y argumenta que los procesos de desarrollo y los movimientos sociales se moldean mutuamente de forma desigual y parad\u00f3jica. Basa su planteamiento en el an\u00e1lisis etnogr\u00e1fico de los movimientos sociales negros que emergieron en el Pac\u00edfico colombiano en la d\u00e9cada del noventa.
