During the student's International Marketing and Advertising career at Universidad Icesi, the student faces challenges that will make him or her a strategist, capable of understanding and financially seizing changes in consumer and client attitudes, as well as interpreting market, advertising, and price sensitivity, in order to develop strategic plans that put together decisions of the company, of the creative from the advertising agency, and media responsible ones.

The student acquires knowledge and skills in: marketing strategies, media and advertising campaigns, pricing, positioning, brand management, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, sales management and administration, and media strategies among others.

Currently, it is accredited by the AACSB, the accrediting organization for the most prestigious business schools in the world. Only two business schools in Colombia have earned this distinction, one of them is Icesi’ s 
  • Students have the opportunity to choose a double degree in a foreign University:

  1. Montpellier Business School (Montpellier, France). 
  2. ESC Clermont (Clermont-Ferrand, France).

Institutional Accreditation

In 2015, the Ministry of National Education granted Icesi University the renewal of the High Quality Institutional Accreditation until 2021. This is a recognition of the permanent commitment of Icesi within the region and the country, to maintain high standards of quality in the development of the functions of training, research and social outreach, as well as administrative support work.

The International Marketing and Advertising professionals will perform successfully in national and international environments, in the following fields: strategic management of marketing and advertising, management and coordination in marketing and advertising areas, managing advertising agencies, marketing research, advertising campaign management, trade marketing, sales management, digital marketing, scholar and, independent consultant among others.
