Pharmaceutical Chemists from Icesi University are leaders with an ethical and social outlook, and a developed set of skills such as communication ability, teamwork and critical thinking, allowing them to design and execute solutions for their professional field, acting responsibly.
The Pharmaceutical Chemistry program provides its graduates with the conceptual foundation and key capabilities to play a role in research and development processes, as well as production and quality assurance of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and any other related products. The program also provides expertise to answer current and future needs related to clinical and healthcare pharmacy, pharmacotherapeutic monitoring and management of pharmaceutical services.
In 2015, the Ministry of National Education granted Icesi University the renewal of the High Quality Institutional Accreditation until 2021. This is a recognition of the permanent commitment of Icesi within the region and the country, to maintain high standards of quality in the development of the functions of training, research and social outreach, as well as administrative support work.
