En nuestros casos a la hora de comunicar a nuestros familiares m\u00e1s cercanos la elecci\u00f3n de la carrera de Mercadeo y Publicidad nos llegaron m\u00faltiples preguntas como por ejemplo: \u00bfy eso pa que sirve? \u00bfy qu\u00e9 hacen? Y las m\u00e1s t\u00edpicas \u00bfeso se estudia? Entonces decidimos que este medio puede ser una fuente en la cual, en base a dos casos reales expondremos la importancia del marketing con el objetivo de eliminar los prejuicios y aquellas preguntas que agobian a los aspirantes a este camino profesional.<\/p>\n<p>Primero, definamos que es el marketing. Seg\u00fan el diccionario de Oxford es \u201cla actividad de presentar, publicitar y vender los productos de una compa\u00f1\u00eda de la mejor forma posible\u201d (Oxford, 2022). Con esto podemos decir que los estudiantes de mercadeo aprendemos a darle un valor agregado a un producto y\/o servicio satisfaciendo as\u00ed las necesidades del mercado y de esta forma obteniendo un ingreso significativo para las empresas. Ahora que tenemos un pre\u00e1mbulo de que es el marketing, expondremos dos casos donde evidenciamos la importancia de realizar un buen estudio de mercado o de lo contrario podr\u00edamos fracasar tal como le pas\u00f3 a Euro Disney y a Kodak.<\/p>\n<p>En primer lugar, Disney una industria famosa y con un posicionamiento a nivel mundial identific\u00f3 la oportunidad de expandir el entretenimiento y fund\u00f3 el parque Euro Disney en Par\u00eds. Este fue un proyecto el cual le cost\u00f3 tiempo y dinero a Disney para finalmente fracasar y cerrar las puertas del parque de forma definitiva. Esto sucedi\u00f3 debido a la poca investigaci\u00f3n de cultura , segmentaci\u00f3n y estudio de mercado que se le realiz\u00f3 a la poblaci\u00f3n europea y especialmente a los franceses, pues Disney pretend\u00eda imponer las normas, servicio y funcionamiento del parque (horarios) con su formato americano el cual fue rechazado en su totalidad por los europeos d\u00e1ndole apodos como \u201cMousewitz\u201d entendiendo as\u00ed el desprecio del p\u00fablico hacia el parque y a la compa\u00f1\u00eda en s\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>En segundo lugar, tenemos la compa\u00f1\u00eda Kodak conocida por revelar im\u00e1genes y vender rollos para c\u00e1maras. El fracaso de esta empresa se debe a la creaci\u00f3n e innovaci\u00f3n de las c\u00e1maras digitales, eliminando en su gran mayor\u00eda el mercado de rollos y revelaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes, aun as\u00ed viendo esta situaci\u00f3n, Kodak no reaccion\u00f3 y de lo contrario decidi\u00f3 seguir ofreci\u00e9ndole al mercado los mismos productos lo cual los lleva a un rotundo fracaso, porque si hubiera considerado entrar en el mercado de las c\u00e1maras digitales y evolucionar seg\u00fan las exigencias del mercado la marca no hubiera perdido su posicionamiento y seguir\u00eda vigente.<\/p>\n<p>Con todos estos casos queda demostrado una vez m\u00e1s que el marketing es necesario y fundamental para que una compa\u00f1\u00eda, teniendo en cuenta que constantemente nos enfrentamos a una competencia y consumidores din\u00e1micos, pueda ajustarse a el constante cambio y evoluci\u00f3n de la sociedad actual.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bibliograf\u00eda:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecotec.edu.ec\/material\/material_2019B1_ADM280_01_111105.pdf\">https:\/\/www.ecotec.edu.ec\/material\/material_2019B1_ADM280_01_111105.pdf<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Negocios y Emprendimiento.
