This report present monthly trade flows (exports and imports) made by Colombia with the rest of the world. Exports are the set of goods and services sold and send by Colombia to another country. By contrast, imports are the set of goods and services purchased by Colombians to persons (natural or legal) that reside in another country.

The monthly report of trade flows in Colombia is published by the Center for Research in Economics and Finance (Cienfi), in order to publicize through panels of economic control the behavior of these flows, it contains information about the composition of both flows, evolution, and valuation. This report uses information from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE).

Objective

The report aims to provide information on international trade flows in the country, so that it can contribute to the analysis of its evolution, composition, and their relation to the performance of the national economy.
