Hola Natalia,
The spiral diagram shows the sequence of points so that the viewer can understand the order in which they appear. The first point is (x, f(x)). Then draw the line to (f(x),f(x)) and then to (f(x), f(f(x))). Drawing the line through (f(x), f(x)) has no particular meaning but is a way of making the convergence visually clear.
