Summary: Perception-based engineering consolidates findings from basic human sensory perception into system and product design. In other words, we use engineering measuring and modelling techniques to predict high-order cognitive processes. This research line includes developments in cognitive science, sensory perception, experimental psychology, machine learning, artificial sensing, product design and consumer behaviour.
