Abstract

Re-layout projects had become very common, nowadays industrial environments are highly volatile.  This is why re-layout projects should consider a lot of features therefore managers can make a good decision. Traditionally, managers had considered the quantitative criteria as the most important; we propose to include qualitative criteria to the analysis for a more robust decision. Besides, our proposal has incorporated a practical point of view; making our analysis a feasible study for managers. This article presents a four phases methodology to evaluate different re-layout alternatives in order to select the best one.
