Resumen

Dado que los factores determinantes en la intención empresarial (IE) en jóvenes no han sido totalmente esclarecidos, este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la incidencia de los factores sociodemográficos y familiares sobre las iniciativas empresariales de una muestra de 485 estudiantes de Maestría en Administración en Colombia. El análisis probabilístico se lleva a cabo mediante modelos de regresión logística para cada uno de los grupos de variables. Los principales hallazgos indican que el Logit tiene mayor capacidad explicativa en el grupo de factores sociodemográficos; en particular, la presencia de amigos empresarios incrementa la capacidad de desarrollar IE en comparación con las demás variables analizadas.
