Los emprendedores zombis: emprendimiento en etapa inicial que no crea empresa en el contexto latinoamericano

Resumen

Esta investigación propone un modelo teórico sobre el fenómeno de emprendedores zombis, quienes identifican oportunidades de negocio, con éxito en etapas tempranas de incubación y financiamiento, pero que tienen dificultad para establecer empresa a largo plazo. En esta investigación, se analizó la correlación de la percepción de oportunidad, intención emprendedora, actividad emprendedora y empresas establecidas del Global Entrepreneurship Monitor y del Programa Capital Semilla en Chile. Los resultados indicaron las siguientes asociaciones: intención emprendedora y actividad emprendedora; percepción de oportunidad y actividad emprendedora; intención emprendedora y empresas establecidas; empresas establecidas y actividad emprendedora. Además, se identificó que el apoyo a los mentores, la calidad de la idea de emprendimiento y la experiencia del fundador tienen una asociación inversa con el fenómeno del emprendedor zombi.
