Emprendimiento social: una perspectiva bibliométrica en el área de administración y negocios

Resumen

En este artículo han sido analizadas las investigaciones sobre emprendimiento social (ES) y se han mapeado los ejes del estudio so­bre el tema. Para esto, se desarrolló un estudio bibliométrico con análisis de 296 artículos científicos disponibles en la base de datos Scopus, publicados entre 1988 y 2016. El estudio permitió comprobar la evolución del estudio del emprendimiento social a lo largo del tiempo, la autoría y coautorías, además del reconocimiento de palabras similares. Los resultados mostraron cuatro categorías de investigación: estudios en ES, sociedad, educación y políticas de vivienda. El análisis factorial exploratorio identificó seis factores que se asignan a los campos de estudio en el área de ES. Adicionalmente, la investigación evidenció la dificultad de definir el fenómeno ES, las motivaciones del emprendedor social, sus características y competencias.
