This new undergraduate program offers students a skill set that combines strategic vision of international finance with the modern vision of Public Accounting, to create a new transforming force of professionals in Public Accounting and International Finance. The success of this program is also due to its mesh of modern disciplines about planning, management, and financial control of businesses. Similarly, advanced knowledge in public accounting, both national and international, and its derivatives toward: internal control, fiscal review, taxation planning, cash flow analyses and business valorization, contribute to the training of competent professionals.
In 2015, the Ministry of National Education granted Icesi University the renewal of the High Quality Institutional Accreditation until 2021. This is a recognition of the permanent commitment of Icesi within the region and the country, to maintain high standards of quality in the development of the functions of training, research and social outreach, as well as administrative support work.
International Certification:
International Certification: thanks to the ACCA agreement – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, our students and graduates of Public Accounting and International Finance can internationally certify their degree in order to work professionally in other areas of the world.
Our graduates are characterized by their solid knowledge of International Rules of Financial Information NIIF, international rules for auditing, international finance, capital international market, English, ethics and social responsibility. They are comprehensive professionals, with global perspective, critical thought, leadership, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
