Universidad Icesi’s Master of Industrial Engineering program offers the following as electives:

Collaborative Logistics: Concerns the development of strategic and competitive advantages born from collaboration between independent companies, using practices such as: S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning), VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), TMS (Transportation Management System), LRTP (Long Range Transportation Plan), ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) and CPFR (Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment).

Supply Chains and Global Operations: This course examines world-class processes for GSCM (Global Supply Chain Management) through an exploration of its main components—SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), ISCM (Internal Supply Chain Management) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management)—integrated into an ERP (Enterprise Resources Management) suite (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and managed by APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) in order to carry out effective Inbound & Outbound as support for successful GSCM. 

Industry 4.0: Businesses in Europe, the United States and Asia will transform design, manufacturing, operations and services by applying “Industry 4.0”, achieving greater speed and efficiency and a higher level of mass customization.

International Logistics (Panama**): This course covers inherent concepts in logistics as well as transport operations (packaging, loading, selection, classification, and optimization of container cargo), distribution and storage centers used in global logistical services.
