Political science is your ideal undergraduate program if you are interested in international and national political events or curious about how political institutions work; if you enjoy working with communities or exploring the cause of society’s problems and challenges
Political science graduates from Universidad Icesi understand how political institutions and processes shape and transform important political and economic dynamics in the world, the region, and the country. This five-year program, rich in history, comparative analysis, and applied experience, allows our graduates to stand out as effective and highly creative professionals capable of offering interpretations of and solutions to political, economic and social problems.
Political scientists from Universidad Icesi can hold leadership positions in the public and private sectors, working for the Colombian foreign service, in international organizations such as the United Nations, in non-governmental organizations, and in the media.
